Round 10 Preview: Collingwood v West Coast
- by Matt Quinn - 23rd May 2014
After a week's break, the Eagles return to the fray to face off against Collingwood, and *shock* *horror*, the game is in Victoria!! Historically, Collingwood have only hosted a mere 22 of the games between the two clubs, and have had to put up with playing one of the last four games at Subiaco. Indeed the AFL in all their dastardlieness have forced the Pies to have to front up to the Eagles at Subiaco this year, but to even that up, there's a match in Melbourne as well.

Round 8 Preview: West Coast v GWS
- by Matt Quinn - 9th May 2014
Four losses in a row have certainly destroyed any buoyancy that Eagles supporters might have felt as the season started, so if there's any chance for the season to get back on any sort of track, the Eagles must beat GWS this week.

Round 7 Preview: West Coast v Fremantle
- by Matt Quinn - 3rd May 2014
A few weeks ago, Western Derby 39 was being touted as being potentially a game between two unbeaten teams - though a few granted that the Eagles might struggle with Geelong at the Cattery. How things change. Both WA clubs come into this game sitting 3-3 with embarrassing losses last week, and indeed the week before. It's not been pretty watching in WA in recent weeks, and this Derby is a chance for one team or the other to snap out of it.
