Threads about NaitanuiModerators: Mr Q, fordy, Streaker, Mead Re: Threads about Naitanui
The AFL should seriously consider creating a "One-Percenter of the Year" award, just for that effort. Or maybe a series of awards, for Shepherd of the Year, Smother of the Year, Tackle of the Year, Chase of the Year, Crowd-noise Generator of the Year, etc... Sincerest apologies if the above post didn't meet all criteria or lift the thread to an upper echelon of awesomeness.

Re: Threads about NaitanuiHaving Naitanui in our team could be a major influencing factor if any good young WA boys (e.g. - Yarran) wanted to come home. Surely they would be champing at the bit to play with Naitanui...

Re: Threads about NaitanuiGreat game at the weekend.
I gave away my tickets to our baby-sitter and sat with my father-in-law up in the note-holders section (thank God for the cover!), so we had a great view of the oval. Loved seeing Naitanui play so well. Howerver, there definitely seems to be a bit of hysteria going on here though... He's not the messiah! I wonder how long it will be until he has another 3 goal game (yet alone a 3 goal quarter)? Love his play, and look forward to seeing him develop. The young Selwood played very well too, and nice to see Stenglein have a great game on his milestone. Wish Cockie was back in the side. I'm optimistic for the future. And I hope some of the "commentators" choke on their own bullshit in the near future. PS - As has already been mentioned (here, on BigFooty and even on Melbourne's Herald-Sun Superfooty site), the umpiring was *terrible*. I really don't like bashing the officials, but it was almost beyond a joke. I'd nearly wonder if there was some monkey business going on there... But I guess there's no point in making a complaint. What are the AFL going to do? They hate WCE anyway, and are rightly very protective of the umpires. Not a good mix for the Eagles when umpiring is not going our way...
Re: Threads about Naitanui
I doubt it. But I bet you Cuzzy is sorry (even more than usual) he's not still playing for the Eagles!
Re: Threads about Naitanui
i was thinking the same thing, yeh the three goals were awesome ...i broke my poncho with all the excitement. But lets not get too carried away with the hype he's not going to get 3 goals a game for the rest of his career. 2010 Sponsor of Daniel KerrPOW

Maybe he will Brad Ebert: when other Eberts just don't cut it.
Instead of this we have luxury and avarice; public indigence side by side with private opulence; we glorify wealth and pursue idleness; between the worthy and the unworthy we make no distinction; all the prizes of virtue are awarded to ambition. - Gaius Sallustius Crispus (c.50BC)
