This is awesome. Can someone upload the original, hi res version for us?

Yeah i'll upload the extended hi-res version which includes his interview.... I left it rendering overnight and it crashed :( so im doing it again.
"My absolute focus is building this team to win a premiership... so the records we're breaking at the moment are going to be a by product of what we are building towards and I'm prepared to wear that pain and prepared to wear the short sighted criticism for the long vision that we have... I'll stick firmly to that... and the narrow-minded near-sighted views are always going to be there." - John Worsfold 7-July-09 on the 'away' record.

Too good. Just too good. I haven't been this excited about a player for a long time.

Good signs, but surely not enough for a rising star nom yet....?

Would say Masten, Mitch Brown and Scotty Selwood would be thereabouts for a nomination this week...

I havent screamed and cried and jumped up and down like a crazy woman for 3 years over a win or a player. Nicnat, you are special.

Raw, gritty, tough, exposed, second efforts....he has got it all.

You should have seen me when he ran forward and got that 3rd goal. I was hysterical...  :D

SCENE: JUNE 2009. Woosha's basement. Woosh is pacing nervously, checking his watch. Suma is scribbling on paper with what appears to be an orange crayon. He is furtively watching Woosha as he paces. "Woosh, how do you spell midfield...?"
Suddenly, a voice calls out....
"Honey, Nissy and Mr Barnaba are here..." Woosha jumps, and turns around to look at Suma.
"Dammit Suma! They're early! Put your goddam resume down and go and try to stall them! NOW! I'm not quite ready! It's still too raw. It needs more time to develop, to rise...." Woosh strides over to the pot. Suma jumps up and runs over to try and hide his resume, trips and papers fly everywhere. A colourful piece of paper flutters gently into the pot, and sinks delicately into the sacred brew. Woosh turns his steely blue gaze to Suma. "What was that...? What have you DONE...?" The blood drains from Suma's face. "I...I...it's..." Suma stutters. Woosh slowly starts making his was towards Suma..."its...its...my holiday pamphlet. We...we...were going to go on a cruise...to Fiji..." Woosh gives Suma another whack. "Go and stall them!" he hisses. Suma scurries off. Woosha goes to the pot. He turns it out. Still too raw for his liking, but it is now or never...The concoction starts to rise, and rise, and rise. Woosh looks on in amazement as it takes shape and form. He looks towards the door. He can hear Suma bumbling down the staircase, and the soft ffffttt of $1000 leather shoes following. He looks at his creation. Suddenly Woosha hears a soft cry of amazement from the corner. He turns to find Lucy, the cleaning lady standing, bucket in hand, wide eyed with amazement. "Mr Woosha! What have you done?!!?" She whispered. Standing before her was an incredibly tall boy, coffee coloured with amazingly long tentacle like limbs, but bald as a baby.....
Slowly the voices get louder....Woosha looks at his creation. He throws a footy...."Fetch" he commands. Fetch he does. "Kick" he commands. He kicks a hole through to the floor above. Mrs Woosha looks down through the hole from the kitchen above, teatowel in hand. Woosha smiles slowly. The voices get louder and the door knob starts to turn...Woosh looks around and grabs the mop from Lucy. He sticks it on the boy's head. Not perfect but it will do. He nods. In comes Nissy and Barnaba. They look at the boy in amazement. "Gentlemen....I give you NicBot...our number 9."
Cute.... but somewhat evil

There will be blood.

I don't think we've talked enough about that third goal- I thought the first one was GOTY material, but the third one, fugger me- came from absolutely nowhere, got a fingertip to the ball, and it was already as good as in the book. I don't think people realise just how fucking surreal it is having multiple players running after a 200cm ruckman, in the wet, with the ball on the deck in front of him, and having said ruckman take the ball off the deck turn on the jets and accelerate away fom the suckers.

He could redefine this game.

On a serious note...

How well spoken was Nic after the game? Very modest, said all the right things and just didnt put a foot wrong.

Does anyone else here think of that old 60s song Monster Mash when they read Ms Bunnies piece?

Woosha: I was working in my lab late one night when my eyes beheld an eerie sight...For my monster from his slab began to rise. And suddenly to my surprise...

We did the NAT!
We did the Nicholas Nat!
We did the NAT!
HE was an AFL smash!
We did the NAT!
It caught on like a flash!
We did the NAT!
THE NICHOLAS NAT! 8) :D

Woosha:From my laboratory in the castle west
To AFL Headquarters where the vampires rest
The Hawks all came from their humble abodes
To get a jolt from Nats electrodes!

We did the NAT!
We did the Nicholas Nat!
We did the NAT!
HE was an AFL smash!
