Adam Selwood has come a long way from his unexpected debut back in the 2003 season, though it wasn't until 2005 that he secured a regular berth in the team. A niggly stopper, Selwood is likely to be a very unpopular player with other club's supporters (as shown by the infamous Des Headland incident in 2007), but his role within the team is crucial, and he does it as well as anyone would expect.
Selwood was part of the 2006 premiership team, and since has become a part of the club's leadership group which shows his value within the team. His job now is to be one of the leaders as the club tries to rebuild the midfield where he is now one of the senior players. While still niggling the opposition players as a tagger. He has since been joined at the Eagles by his youngest brother, Scott. |
