 Player Information
Nicoski is a talented young defender promoted off the rookie list in 2004, playing a fair part of that season before a broken collarbone at York Park ended his run.

After an excellent 2005 where Nicoski impressed and was a part of the unlucky Eagles team that lost the Grand Final by a point, he looked likely to cement his place in 2006. Unfortunately a broken ankle ended his season prematurely; while he regained sufficient fitness to be considered for selection for the Grand Final, his lack of match practice meant he had to be omitted.

Worse was to come when a collarbone injury during the pre-season of 2007 saw him unavailable until midway through the year, and ongoing injuries did not permit him to gain real fitness and consequently form over the 2007 or 2008 seasons; it seemed to take a toll on his talent as well with more questionable decision making.

Late in the 2008 season Nicoski finally started to regain some of the form that had made him such a prospect in the early part of his career; if he can continue that improvement he should be able to recover the ground lost when unable to get fit for a couple of years; still he wouldn't want another season wrecked with injury and form problems.
