Probably the surprise pick of the 2009 Rookie Draft, Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls is being thrown a lifeline by the Eagles. A very highly rated junior when he was drafted, he struggled to show more than occasional glimpses of why he was a high first round pick back in 2005, and after being overlooked completely for the latter part of the Tigers' 2009 season he was shown the door. Talent doesn't go away completely, and as the last Eagle to join the nest in 2009, J-ON will be hoping his career takes a better turn back at the club he supported as a kid. |
