A couple of players to watch as potential draftees this year.

AGE 18
CLUB FROM South Mandurah

Son of Rod Tregenza and is a big lump of a lad. Full Forward for Peel Thunder Colts.

KANE BEVAN
HEIGHT : 192 cm

AGE 17
CLUB FROM Joondalup Kinross JFC

Tall midfielder who can play well in defence from West Perth Colts. Reads the play well, great hands at ground level and doesn't drop marks.

Appreciate these updates. Any WA players likely to really be worth a top three pick?

top 3? that seems optimistic! Are you thinking that Norf and another team will finish lower?
Also, appreciate the updates

No I'm not optimistic(: Though I suspect other teams might have covid issues later in the season, so who knows we might get off the bottom by their default. I would however tend towards a WA or SA player over maybe two slightly higher rated Vic city players even if we did have pick one.

Edit; And even if we qualify for a number one draft pick I suspect Norf will get a bonus pick before us, being a Victoria team and all.

Elijah Hewett is a WA boy who is highly likely going to be mid top 10. He is already playing league.
Hewett is a strong ball winning midfielder who displays power when exiting stoppages and is damaging every time he secures the ball forward of centre. With good speed, agility and evasion, Hewett mixes this with damaging skills by foot whether he is locating and hitting inside 50m targets or finishing around goal himself. After playing in the WAFL Colts last year, Hewett has transitioned to League play this year and has been competitive against the more seasoned bodies, averaging 11.6 disposals per game.

Taking him a couple of picks earlier wouldn't be an issue. It removes the "go home" factor from an eastern talent when playing for a rebuilding list.
