I liked this but I tend to read reviews of music i already like. Do you have a link for last year's or the years before? To see how accurate the predictions are? 2011 Official Sponsor of the Father-son and the Jacob Brennan.

Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- RetireWe seem to be getting heavily linked to Ed Allen.
Not a bad pick, can certainly see us taking him at 12. Well built, tall, agile and has pace. The only team we are destined to be is the team we decide to be. - West Coast Eagles, 2018 Premiers
Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- Retire
I had turned my attention to this year's draft, who is available and who we may select. Make the switch now
Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- RetireI listened to the road to the draft mock draft and they have Ginbey going to gold coast and WCE taking Jhye Clark and Matthew Jefferson. it's kinda boring having to wait. I had a look at last year predictions and they had the Eagles Taking Erasmus, who was taken by freo and Campbell Chesser was expected to be taken at 23 by Geelong. Port were predicted to take Josh Sinn, who they did take. So I wonder if we got their 2 round pick essentially for nothing.

Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- RetireGinbey to Gold Coast has been thrown around a lot.
Geelong will take Clark. Phillipou, McKenzie and Busslinger would be on our radar if Ginbey is off the board. Tsatas might be there if he slides, but interstate clubs are wary of him as a go-home player. I can see us grabbing Ed Allen at 12. I wouldn't be surprised if we bid on Fletcher at either pick. We seem to be after speed and power. It sounds like we are giving Western, ex Freo, a train-on. If someone has wheels, we are interested in them. The only team we are destined to be is the team we decide to be. - West Coast Eagles, 2018 Premiers
Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- Retire
Other than Judd, who only left after things went south, and even then he made sure West Coast go compensated, the club doesn't have a terrible retention problem. Other than players who want to go to Port Adelaide? Tsatas actually sounds like Judd, elite clearance player with speed. Very little defensive pressure. He may complain and want to go home, but a few games of NicNat tapping to him, and he may enjoy himself. 2011 Official Sponsor of the Father-son and the Jacob Brennan.

Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- RetireDon't forget Fraser Gehrig was pretty much a star - all Australian - when he left after 6 years, though had had a bad injury run for a while, still 115 games and 159 goals; not bad for his development years and he played swing man or even the wing. Then he grew into a real beast of a player at St Kilda 145 games and 390 goals! One of the best.
We did get the brother of the best female soccer player in the world out of the trade; so a win / win in the end. ![]() Proud 2017 sponsor of Liam -Dangerfield- Duggan, Will Schofield, Simon - the tank - Tunbridge & Tom Gorter

Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- RetireI would be happy with Ginbey, Allan, Barnett and Hotton/Darcy/Burgeil.
If Ginbey is gone by pick 9then there is still plenty of talent to choose from. Phillipou and Mackenzie look great also. Jefferson would be a good selection too as we need another key forward on the list - JD is 31 next year and Allan needs substantial assistance. I'm not sure how Williams will play out for us. Even Isaac Keeler who plays as a genuine forward with strong ruck capabilities. Make the switch now
Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- RetireFrom what little I know I donāt like the sound and vision of Ginbey as a pick 8. He looks like he gets to dominate solely because heās bigger than everyone else he plays against.
Logic also says that if the WA midfielders were so good surely we would have done better in the state matches? Allen strikes me as a gamble but happy to take that gamble if we get a more proven kid at 8. He could be Brander or he could be a gun - the future mid/ruck tall ala what Freo want to do with Jackson. Also happy with a few other names that might be there so pick 12 can be a bit of a wildcard for us. I hope GC take ginbey as is being reported as it takes the decision out of our hands and means one of the other ā provenā mids are available. From then I have no idea, but a KPP will be needed. Do not want busslinger at 8 or 12!
Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- RetireI've not been following it too closely I admit, no doubt will really get into it all this week. From the limited videos I've watched on the WA players and that I always like the idea of picking up strong goal kicking mids with footy smarts - not half back flankers who could be mids - there look to be three WA boys who tick all the boxes. If we can pick up two of these three with our first two picks I'd be very happy;
Elijah Hewett - ready to play many games next year, goal kicking, footy smarts, fast and strong. And interviews really very well on AFL.com and the WAFL.com showing real confidence and intelligence. Reuben Ginbey - looks ready to play some games next year, footy smarts, strong powerhouse and goal kicking. What's not to like in the long term, though I've not seen an interview. I don't share CP's concern that he just plays well because he is bigger than his opponents, he is not that big at 188cm and 81kg and you can only beat who you play against. Ed Allen - I reckon he'll need building up a season or two or three at his size, maybe a few games next year to give hm a taste or what's required, but a tall strong mid like him will be on every clubs long term wish list. Bound to have great footy smarts from his fathers guidance and interviews like he does. And with much talk of Jedd Busslinger I do like the looks of him heaps, footy smart athletic defender in the style we love but I'm just not sure we need him like we do the above mids but if he unlikely slips to pick 20 then yes. Darcy Jones, please if he is available at 20 or 26 lets pick him up! Super fast and agile with footy smarts and goal licking sense. Interviews well. We'll be saying Junior who? Might take a few years to build up but the wait will be worth it. Proud 2017 sponsor of Liam -Dangerfield- Duggan, Will Schofield, Simon - the tank - Tunbridge & Tom Gorter

Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- RetireCal Twomey has us taking:
9. Reuben Ginbey
12. Ed Allan
23. Elijah Hewett (a big slider)
29. Cody Burgiel
I would be over joyed with this. Chesser, Culey, Ginbey, Allan, Hewett as our staring mids. ![]() The only team we are destined to be is the team we decide to be. - West Coast Eagles, 2018 Premiers
Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- Retire
Last Year, he had us taking Neil Erasmus, but I think that Freo knew that they could get Erasmus and no one else would take Johnson. So they got both. All the top 10 players available look pretty good. I'd be happy with Phillipou from Sa too. If you look at his phantom draft from 2020, he got almost it wrong. 2011 Official Sponsor of the Father-son and the Jacob Brennan.

Re: 2022 : Trade -:- Delist -:- RetireI can't remember when he got us right in who we took. We seem very good at keeping our cards close to our chest.
Slightly off-topic, Hunt and Gaff are the only ones not to turn up for early training. Not great by Hunt when joining a new team. The only team we are destined to be is the team we decide to be. - West Coast Eagles, 2018 Premiers
