How good was that? England has been very poor all series. Great captaincy by Paine, Cummins and Hazelwood were fantastic. Smith just out this world, so happy right now.

The ball from Pat Cummins that castled Joe Root is the best delivery from a fast bowler I've seen in I don't know how long. There aren't many batsmen in the best form of their careers who could've kept that one out.

Certainly was. That aside though, a rain shortened game with stuff all in the way of atmosphere or competition was a somehow fitting end to the most lousiest summer of cricket I can ever remember.

Wade was being interviewed on 6pr last week and mentioned he was waiting in the wings. He believed that, with a three game series, he's unlikely to be called on to replace anyone, but expected he was first cab off the rank. He won't be happy
