I love movies, and I'm sure you do too...let's talk about em in here!
Just saw Borat: Cultural Learning of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation Kazakhstan last night. Fucking hilarious. I can't remember the last time I laughed so long and so hard in a theatre. Is it out in Australia yet? I strongly recommend you go see it. (I'm a big fan of the Ali G Show, and always through Borat was hilarious...the movie is great and really exposes bigoted America).
Also, The Departed is awesome. Really good acting from DiCaprio and Damon. I suspect it will be big come Oscar time. I also like the original Hong Kong version, Infernal Affairs. If you like The Departed I suggest you to hunt out Infernal Affairs (It's a trilogy too) and watch it.
Also, the trailer for Casion Royale looks wicked. I can't wait to see it. It opens over here in a week.
Let me set the scene here. Grand Final, playing Collingwood, we’re down by five goals. I think you [Greg Williams]s know what happened.

Borat released November 23rd. Seen the previews & it seems very funny.
Only issue i have with it being so funny is I'm not sure i want to watch it with 200 other people laughing around me. There's always someone with an annoying, loud laugh there to ruin it. (spoil sport I know)
Might get the time to see Saw 3 this weekend. (doubt that movie gets any laughs)

I don't know man, i was kind of disappointed in the Departed .. Internal Affairs is easily the better one, i nearly forgot about the ending with the elevator/killing scene .. found that bit hilarious, cause i was laughing my way through it while watching Internal Affairs, watched 1,2,3 all in one sitting .
Also i recommend people watch Flag of our Fathers and The Wrong Man (Lucky Number Slevin).

Caught Suburban Mayhem the other night. It's fairly good but I'd seen an episode of real crime which documented the whole thing for me, several month earlier.
I probably rate SM as a better Aussie flick than Kenny, but geez, we've had a good year with those two films.

Last few movies I've seen:
Suburban Mayhem - OK. Script could have been a bit better. None of the characters were really likeable... a bit one-dimensional.
The Departed - I thought this was brilliant. Scorcese has returned to form with this one.
Children of Men - Another really good movie. Loved the way it was shot.
Little Miss Sunshine - Hilarious. Really enjoyed this film. Good casting and no flat spots.

I saw Saw 3 on the weekend. It's definitely the most gory out of all the Saw films and I thought the way the movie started was really good. Overall the movie was quite good but I still reckon that Saw I is the best. Saw 3 is not a movie for the faint-hearted
Soaring again in '09.

Children of Men.
Simply stunning. The last five minutes of the movie where brutal and touching - all in the same breath.
Michael Cain played a great part as an aging hippy.

I don't know about that ... was basically just an english translated version of Internal Affairs, if you thought Departed was good, Internal Affairs will blow ur mind away.

Infernal Affairs, apex. Infernal Affairs.
The Prestige also looks good. Really want to see that. Chris Nolan makes pretty good films (although Insomnia was a bit flat.) Everytime I see Jackman now I'm going to think of him shaking his booty in Perth in an Eagles jumper! Did anyone take pics of him wearing one??
Oooh speaking of Nolan, did you hear who they cast as The Joker in Batman Begins sequel, The Dark Knight? Clue: He's a Perth boy!

I thought The Departed was really brilliant.
Saw 3 really was awsome, I felt so sick after. Not for the faint hearted though.
I actually saw Jackass 2 this arvo, I wasn't expecting much at all, but it turned out to be hilarious.
Also I can't wait to see Borat, that looks awsome.
