After an abortive career at the Kangaroos, Chad Jones was thrown a lifeline to join his brother, Brett at the West Coast Eagles in 2007. Chosen as a rookie list player, he managed to get elevated to the team mid season on the back of excellent form at Claremont as a forward, but couldn't sustain it at AFL level (though had he not hit the post so often his stats would have looked better).
Injuries cruelled Jones's second season on the list, and with places surprisingly tight at the end of a disappointing 2008 Jones was one of the unlucky delistees. |
